Best Actor – Tyler Wilson. He tried the hardest to keep to Petrino’s quarterback choreography.
Littlest Hands – Either Tyler Wilson has small hands or he’s got work to do on ball transfers. Not good either way.
Most final push in his legs -- #33, Dennis Johnson. At the end of practice Johnson was still running extra yards at the end of plays.
Quickest feet – Michael Smith. Hands down.
Running Back who looks most like a receiver -- #7 Knile Davis – freshman out of Missouri City, Texas. And … I don’t know if this exactly fits … but … he also has the softest hands – by that I mean he catches the ball quietly. I know. I know. That’s stupid … but I’m telling you. When the other running backs caught a ball there was the sound of a catch. Davis just snatches it in silence. OK. Maybe you had to be there.
Best brown noser – Mallet. He gracefully loped over to the offensive line immediately prior to an offense vs. defense drill and high 5’ed them. He is really trying hard to cover all his bases.
Least likely to let somebody get around him -- #45 – DJ is a tight end through and through. If he isn’t catching the ball you can expect he’ll be still out there doing his job.
Meanest, toughest receiver – Got to be – hands down -- # 85 Greg Childs. At 6’3”, 217 pounds, Childs isn’t going to be intimidated by any lowly DB.
Coolest Head on the field -- #61, Zack Sadler, sophomore nose tackle out of North Little Rock. For stepping in and very quickly pushing two fellows apart before anything could happen.
And … last but not least … drum roll please … Toughest guys on the sidelines all week -- Friday’s visit by 4 no doubt – spot’em a mile away – football coaches from the Dardanelle. Walking around … you just know that they intimidate their players. Go Sand Lizards.
