Wide Receiver Chris Gragg was hurt today in practice and was carted off the field. Unconfirmed (the guy behind me with the binoculars) reports are that he broke his ankle. Trainers were there very quickly. They immediately immobilized his right lower leg. Gragg raised his arm in response to the fans cheering him as he was driven into the tunnel.

Gragg had been doing well so far in practice. He will definitely be missed. As Petrino said earlier when questioned about the number of receivers we have – “You can't have too many.”

I imagine it will be a while before we see Gragg again.

This was a hard practice. #1 Offense played #2 defense and visa versa.
