Liberal Democrats and the DNC – Consider Yourselves on Notice The liberal wing of the Democratic Party has once again decided – since they are evidently in control – to nominate the most liberal Senator in the Senate to be their presidential candidate. In the event that they do not win i.e., Barak Obama loses to John McCain, there will be a comeuppance.
Comeuppance? What are you talking about? Quite simply Moderates and Conservative Democrats are going to storm the extremists in their elitist power towers and take our Party back.
The Socialists … I mean left wing Liberals that have rigged the primaries in their favor obviously have no idea about who and what this country is or the direction it needs to go in. If they had any real idea of what this country needs they wouldn't keep nominating outliers like Obama, Kerry, and Dukakis. Click Here to read all of this editorial.
Dead heat after all the hoopla in Denver The Democratic convention is the tiara on top of the teddy bear, the usual crowning of a stuffed toy in the make-believe game of politics.
“What's astonishing about this convention,” says Charles Krauthammer in the Washington Post, “is that we are coming into it with the race a dead heat.” He claims with tongue in cheek that it's impossible with “everything blowing the Democrat's way.”
What happened is that they nominated their weakest candidate while the GOP nominated their strongest. It was an accidental nomination and the only one that could work for the conservatives this strange year.
People don't like the way things are going at home or globally so they want something different, change, and that's what Obama says he is. But that's all. No experience in causing change just agreement with a longing for bright new days. Maybe even the good old days, who cares. Anything but this. Click Here to read all of this editorial,
With today's credit crunch where can you get a loan? You have a $7,000 credit card balance running at an interest rate of 29% with possibility of even going higher. To inquiries to transfer to a loan with a reasonable interest rate, banks and other lending agencies have politely said no.
What to do?
The Internet is influencing all sorts of activities in such things as political fund raising and policy influence. It's affecting protests and telephone campaigns for or against legislation – or whatever the grass-roots public sees a need for.
This phenomena has attracted attention of those who see a need in lending. New players are peer-to-peer lending sources and include such new contenders as Prosper, Zopa, Virgin Money and Lending Club. Some of them like GreenNote and Fynanz sprang up to serve loans exclusively to students. Click Here to read all of this editorial.
